2009 is off and running!

One of my goals this year is to read more. Through Twitter someone sent me this cool link to find out what kind of reader I am! Why not try it yourself! I think I am on the right track!

One of my other goals is to exercise five or six days per week and to eat healthier. I have so much "stuff" in my house that should be thrown away, but that is such a waste of money. I still went grocery shopping today and spent a fortune on healthier choices anyway!

Happy New Year!

What does everyone talk about every new year? RESOLUTIONS! So this is what I resolve to do in 2009!

I resolve to take better care of myself. I will eat healthier; which means I will keep junk food out of my house. (I have so much of it here now after the holidays that I will need to give it away, or something.) I will exercise regularly to include, cardio, strength training, and yoga. I will take time to read more often because I get so much joy from it, it is relaxing and a great way to be a life long learner.

I resolve to be more patient with the man I love. I will continue to try to motivate him to care about his health without aggravating him. I will continue to encourage him to walk for exercise. I will continue to encourage him to change his eating habits for a healthier life style. I will be patient when he does not wear his hearing ads. I will be patient when he does not pick up after himself.

I resolve to call my children and parents more often instead of corresponding by email so much.

I resolve to be the best teacher I can be for my wonderful Digital Communications students. I resolve to continue learning about what I am teaching.
